1. Information we handle

2. Why we use it
We use information to create and secure accounts; provide, maintain, and support the service; process payments; prevent fraud and abuse; act on abuse and legal notices; communicate operational changes; and comply with law. Depending on where you are, the legal basis is the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the service, your consent where we ask for it, or a legal obligation.
3. Customer projects
For data a customer places in its own project, the customer decides why and how that data is used, and Camplax processes it on the customer’s behalf to provide the platform. The terms for that processing are in the data processing addendum, which is a draft pending legal review and not yet offered for signature.
4. Sharing and international transfers
We share information with the service providers that run the platform, professional advisers, and authorities when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety. The providers, what each does, and where are on the Subprocessors page. Customer apps and their databases run on servers in the United States, and the control plane runs on Cloudflare’s global network, so information about people outside the United States is transferred there. 5. Cookies and similar technologies
The website and console use only essential cookies and browser storage: for sign-in, security, your settings (such as light or dark), and service delivery. Camplax does not use analytics or advertising cookies on its own website or console. Camplax uses Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode during account creation to detect automated abuse. Cloudflare processes device, browser, network, and interaction signals for that security check under its data processing terms and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
6. Retention, security, and rights
How long each kind of record is kept, and what deleting a project or an account does, is on the Data Retention & Deletion page. After an account is deleted, its details can remain in Camplax’s backups of activity records for up to 38 days, and are then gone.
Camplax uses administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and risk, but no system is perfectly secure. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to complain to a regulator.
